My Story

Yvette Huntley is a singer-songwriter who believes

dream and aspirations are timeless, no matter what

you're in pursuit of, to keep persevering to achieve that

goal. 

Her belief in Christian faith gives a message in the music type of approach of songs about real everyday life and bits of inspiration that is relatable.  Her songs identify with struggles and overcoming obstacles, as well as tunes of love and encourages faith.  

She is a Florida native who relocated to Chicago with her husband and two children in 2014, and still continues to network with fellow artists and musicians.

From a young age she found solace through music, songwriting and story writing served as a saving grace through years of personal struggles as well as growing up from a broken home and feeling alienated. Influenced by artists like Whitney, Mariah, Alicia Keys Selena Q, and Gospel Artists such as Nicole C. Mullen, Detrick Haddon and more.

Those artists and  those similar influenced her creativity and in some ways influenced her sound, we are a combination of our influences she believes.

She's always liked Latin style music as well and in loving memory of her late husband Louis she will pay tribute with her R&B/Salsa/Cumbia  flavored music.

As of today, she chooses to embrace being unique and developing a unique sound.  Story is still being written...
